This might be a moot point but have you gone to the BBID site and checked that your new handset is linked to your account? There is also the BBID in the settings menu to see if everything is working ok on that end (only to check because you said in 1 of posts that your work pc was working fine) As far as backup is concerned, Link seems to work a lot better than what I remember from last summer. As soon as I started Link, it tried to connect with BB ID, without my even clicking anything.Īs far as I can tell, this problem only affects Remote File Access-makes it impossible-and OTA updates via Link. In my case, I hadn't yet connected the phone to Link. I think it has nothing to do with the phones, since it happens whether or not they are connected.
